Diagnosis with digital X-ray
The advantage of digital X-raying is the immediate digitization of the recorded image. It can be processed directly on the computer, so that today there are hardly any poor-quality images. If the quality of the images falls short of expectations due to exposure deficiencies, they can usually be enhanced on the computer.
As a result, the patient is spared a complete repeat exposure. In addition, the representation of soft tissue is incomparably better with digital X-rays. Particularly positive for the patient are the much lower radiation exposure with digital X-rays and the immediate availability of the images, as there is no need for conventional developing of film material. The images can also be emailed to other physicians as needed, saving the patient unnecessary X-ray examinations, especially in emergency situations.
Of course, like other data, your X-ray images are subject to the relevant data protection regulations, which are strictly adhered to.
