Digital footprint and gait analysis - pedography

Pedography is a digital analysis procedure that optimizes the assessment and diagnosis of dynamic foot problems (while walking or running, i.e. in motion). Highly sensitive sensors in a measuring plate record the forces acting on the foot during walking. They provide information about the pressure distribution under the sole of the foot. In this way, for example, areas of the highest pressure load, which can lead to local pain, can be determined with pinpoint accuracy.

At the same time, a digital camera records, among other things, the rearfoot statics, which can be disturbed, for example, in the case of achilles tendon complaints. The digitally acquired information is used for diagnostics on the one hand, and on the other hand the measurement results can be used directly for the adjustment of an individual insole or for surgery planning.
