4D-Spinal Therapy

Back pain and general complaints of the back, spine and intervertebral discs are a common problem in orthopedic patients. Up to now, X-ray images have been and still are frequently used to find the cause. However, this is always associated with radiation exposure for the patient (and is therefore ruled out for pregnant women and often also for children) and shows a static image of the spine.

The method of 4D spine measurement, which is offered in the private practice “Bones & Brain”, is an ideal alternative. The method can be used to dynamically detect misalignments of the spine and pelvis and to map muscle tension and muscle strain. Even back complaints caused by a malposition of the temporomandibular joints can be analyzed and treated therapeutically with the 4D spinal measurement. This is done without X-ray radiation and without touching: only the digital video camera and the projector are needed. Finally, the intervertebral discs, back muscles and other structures can be relieved by means of appropriate orthotics.
