Biofeedback
By means of the biofeedback method, mechanical or biological processes that are not accessible to direct sensory perception are made observable with technical (often electronic) aids, i.e. these processes become present to one’s own consciousness.
Thus, biofeedback contains behavioral-therapeutic and learning-theoretical approaches. Biofeedback training is often used for relaxation but also for rehabilitation (for example of paralyzed muscles after an operation).
